At 9:50 a.m., on motion by Mr. Levengood and seconded by Mr. Porter, the County Commissioners unanimously adjourned Regular Session and convened in Legislative Session for the introduction of the following:

#2010-4, Amendments to Building Code – Sprinkler Systems

Code of Public Local Laws of Caroline County

Chapter 88 – Building Code

 

For the purpose of amending  Chapter 88, Article II  of the Code of Public Local Laws of Caroline County, Maryland; providing for the amendment of certain provisions concerning the requirement to install sprinkler systems in certain structures; providing for a certain notice and election to be made regard the installation of sprinkler systems in certain structures; providing  that this title be deemed a fair summary of this public local law for all purposes; and relating generally to the amendment, and enforcement of building code provisions within Caroline County, Maryland.

 

No additional discussion took place, and on motion by Mr. Levengood, seconded by Mr. Porter, the Commissioners unanimously introduced the Bill, and authorized the public hearing to be held January 4, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. 

 

On motion by Mr. Levengood and seconded by Mr. Porter, the Commissioners unanimously adjourned Legislative Session and reconvened in Regular Session at 9:55 a.m.
